Tailored Figures and Illustrations
to support your spoken and written words
Do you want to capture and hold your audience’s attention?
Is it important to you, that people understand and remember what you say?
Would you like a message that inspires individuals to take action?
The quickest way to anyone’s heart may be their stomach.
The fastest route to their brain, though, is through the eyes.
Effective communication is a gift – and a craft.
Whether you give presentations or write books, it can be hard to hold on to people’s attention for the duration of the message. After all, our brain is mainly an image processor (much of our sensory cortex is devoted to vision), not a word processor.
Research states that only 10% of people remember what they hear. 20% of people remember what they read. 80% of people remember what they see and do.
Maps, graphs, charts, figures, diagrams… can all help you break down and illustrate complex ideas, making dense information more digestible. Visuals also generate interest, trigger emotions and help people remember information longer.
And since feelings and emotions drive most of our decision-making, visuals are better than words at getting people to take action.
Let’s make it easier for people to see, understand and react to your message.

WHY AM I (very) GOOD AT THIS?
My whole life I’ve gravitated towards roles that involved teaching and support, so I have a really good idea of what people need in order to truly understand and process all kinds of information.
Mindmaps, flowcharts, trees, networks… I was using all kinds of diagrams before I knew what they were called. They’ve always been a part of how I make sense of the world – for myself and for others.
In fact, during the several years I taught at Aarhus University, I always used visuals on my presentations and learning materials – and received very positive feedback from both students and co-teachers.
